jets from the sky

for some time now i've been having dreams of military jets and other planes flying above me. Many times, one would crash and explode..pretty scary...for a good 2,3 years i've been having these dreams. especially after an air show in AC i went to they've become more vivid. In my dream the other night i saw an amazing air show by different squadrons of jets. Last night I had a dream i was on the beach and jets started flying in from the horizon. There were these new military planes i never seen before, they were huge. one by one they would come in...nose dive into the water then the back hull turned into a large boat. the plane did a procedure then shot backwards back up then flew a few hundred feet into a mother ship that was docking the planes. The noise was sooo loud!! I stepped into where i saw sand getting shot up right next to me (due to the engines) and the second i stepped into the moving sand i smelt...yes SMELT a thick toxic residue lingering in the air...it was weird to say the least.

The pilots were beautifully executing their ships from the sky to water to sky to mother-ship. I was in awe at their skill and fearless flight, i was scared for them because i knew it could have turned into a disaster. The last plane dove into the water (half sticking out) the second he did this a large wave was shot up about what seemed 300 ft up...it was more of a box like splash that went only up not out. I was scared we were going to get swept away by a tidal wave.

that wasn't the case, i remember we did get wet...then all of sudden my family and i started enacting Jurassic Park. raptors were after us and we were suddenly in the community center trying to outwit them. (I once had a dream i found 3 little baby raptors, they could fit in my hand, one bit me and it hurt!!) anyway the raptors turned into cats and we were still trying to kill them. I remember one kid spinning a heavy bucket in circles and hitting them under the chin where they would then go flying. I was stomping them with some sort of steel plate. haha i dont know why, I love cats!

planes have been a reoccurring theme for years now. I've always wanted to fly planes so maybe thats deep-seeded within me.

pig and wolves

i dreamed that i was down under the my auntys town house and saw this wild pig comming in i got on to a chair and grabbed a rake that you use for gardening and killed it. Then not long after that i could see all these wolves comming towards the house i was with two cousins down under the house still so we all got on a ladder there were two which were quite high so we both quickly climbed up. i could see that my ladder was stable but his ladder was on a lean so i started worrying about his ladder there was about 3 rows of wolves commin and 3 in each row but i woke up just before they were about to come under the house

could u tell me the meaning of this dream

Dream about high buildings

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this tribe, Hope to have some interesting talk with you guys :)

I am not afraid of heights. well no more than the average instinctual fear.
going up tall buildings is not a problem for me and i can stand at the window just fine.
i do have these dreams however.

it's not a recurring dream, but a recurring theme.

a few times, I have dreamt about being in a very tall building. it can be a different building and i could be there for a different reason.
the building seems to be swaying an awful lot, like it's a giant spring.
everyone else seems to be comfortable with it but it is swaying so much that the floor can go to almost 45 degrees.
it seems that i am in real danger of slipping out from the building. I never do though.
the dream never features falling or death or anything like that. just the swaying and the feeling of not being safe and stable.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this :)

I don’t think you will ever be able to answer , the question of how we as individuals or us as a part of the universe. What came first , or how we came to be. It is an irrelevant question.
We’re made up of atoms, as everything else is. Atoms only follow a thought pattern, so where we are
now in time and the universe has come to be through a process of thought patterns, that has been throughout time and the universe.
Or as we are coming to understand, the heavens and this planet we call earth sit in the middle of the heavens ,we are a part of everything, soon the endless life forms of the universe, will start to come to introduce themselves. .They are a part of us as we are of them, we are all one.
We will vastly advance at an unprecedented rate.
However the humans and the other beings of the universe, that are stuck in a state of domination ie: wars, selfish control, will cease to be.
This is the cosmic egg breaking, or if you prefer call it evolution. What ever suits you best.
We are going through that process now. So it is time to wake up and accept your own loving brilliance.
We are all sons and daughters of god, or if you prefer the life force.
It is time for the humans on the planet who are supporting the dark age agenda, or the building of the so
called ‘new world order’ to cease. There is nothing new about it, it has been tried throughout the ages and as always had the same results, failure and death and destruction that ultimately ends up taking us further back from where we where originally, it is an insane idea.
However I do see a new world and universe forming, one that is ruled by love of all.
Each individual soul will be able and encouraged to shine with their own uniqueness and brilliance, no one will be left out because after all they are the stars of tomorrow, forever moving forward through love of all.

The opening of the Triple Nine CRYSTALLINE Gateway on 09/09/09

repetitive dream about my mom

ive been wondering about this since i was 12 yrs old. i keep having dreams of my mom and i having sex. NO, I WAS NOT MOLESTED/RAPED! these dreams have been goin on for years and recently i havent had them. another weird dream i had was a cpl years ago, i had a dream where me and my dad had sex!!! in the dream, my mom caught us fucking and was mad but we still continued to fuck!!! i dont understand this! i am 23 yrs old and a woman, i am not close to my parents whatsoever. there is no love between any of us, thats the truth about my folks. does anyone have any ideas why do i keep getting these dreams?

dreaming that i am a giant bird!

was wondering if any of u have ever taught yourselves to fly in your dreams? i taught myself to fly over the course of 25 yrs! wierd. at first i was a giant hawk and didn't know how to fly and i kept on crashing into the water... then sometime this year in my dream we were stuck in this place and i transformed into a red tailed raven. i know that that doesn't exist in real life. in my dream by doing this i was able to escape danger and save my friends and a bunch of people ... ? do u think that this has any meaning?

why do i change into these large birds and fly? just looking for some deeper insight..

Dream .. I need help with....

I need help interpreting this dream. I have dreams of this ex sometimes. Last night I dreamt that I was at a really nice house and I realized that my ex's house was in the nieghborhood. I had to swim across a pond to get up to the property. Then I went to the house and no one was home but this random guy, I asked if my ex was there, he said no but that I could go up to his room. I went up the stairs to his room, it was messy and seemed lived in even though he wasn't there. I looked around and then I left. When I was about to swim across the pond again to the other house I realized I had a back pack of stuff. I must have taken it from his room , i looked ino the bag and there were a bunch of wires like telephone wires all in a bundle. I closed the bag and jumped into the pond to swim back to the other house.
What do you think?
The emotional content was that I was sneaking around and he was going to be mad that I was in his room. Also the wires interest me, He is an IT guy, very heady, very in his head and works with lots of wires. Did I sneak into his room and remove some wires? Or re-wire some stuff figuritively. Maybe it was my head that was rewired.

Walking With A Wolf

This morining I had a dream, that I was walking down a long road, and I had a wolf walking besides me.
I was not afraid of this wolf, and we had stopped in the middle of this road and a man whom I didn't know came out of nowwhere and blessed us, he then said I can now change from my form to the form of the wolf, and he vanished.

As we came to the end of this road, it was not a finished road, and I had to cross it using a plank....the wolf was no longer at my side.

The planks started to move as I walked on them, and then out of nowwhere I head a voice saying if I wanted to cross the planks all I had to do was wake up, and so I did....

Any thoughts or comments that might help me understand this dream is appreciated.

Repetative Dreams About Wolves

I have had several recurring dreams about wolves. The wolf ( and it is always a lone wolf) keeps trying to get in my house. It is always very easy to get in, but I am trying really hard to keep him out. Yet, he never gets in. I feel slightly threatened, but not scared completely, if that makes sense. I am thinking it is just a mother sub-concious protective feeling I am having. I also wonder if maybe a wolf is my totem. Yet I read for your animal totem to come to you in dreams, you are not scared at all. So, I'm not sure. Any insight?

Courage, Synchronicity, and the Technology of Magic

I have often been staggered by the forces of the ordinary that cajole the human experience into cowardice. Relentless mass-mediated daydreams croon lullabies to nightmare; meathook economic rackets hijack freedom with student loans, predatory credit, and eternal mortgages; narratives of responsibility harass the mind with financial planning, time-management, highly-effective habits; and illusions of security, insurance, and retirement prod us into proper place. Lurching through life in the midst of such clamor, is it any wonder that so many trade the tremendous for the trivial, that the ecstatic fantastic wow of existence dims into murk and shadow, flickering into fluorescence like some stepped-on plastic geranium?

But this is not to be some hand-wringing howl of quiet desperation. The walls are high, yes, the challenges are great, but today I’d like to invite an exploration of what it is that happens when this drear occasionally clears, when we see something, something that matters, something possessed not merely of meaning, but of magic? In a previous essay entitled Chaos, Collapse, and Synchronicity, I explored how synchronicity is likely to emerge during and after ego-shattering experiences. Because the ego demarcates the presumably phantasmic boundary between your consciousness and the rest of the universe, the experience of synchronicity can be understood to be the face of the perception of undivided unity. Here, I would like to venture beyond mild-mannered explanation and into wild-eyed exploration. In other words, if synchronicity is the perception of undivided unity, what is the technology of this magic?

In one of his most potent remarks, Arthur C. Clarke asserted that “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” Taking him at his word, then, the prickling astonishment that follows the experience of synchronicity—the sensation that something magical has just occurred—this is but an artifact of our limited technology of mind. Synchronicity is only astounding, in other words, when we persist in the delusion that we are distinct from the all and everything. Expanding consciousness beyond the limited point of view of oneself and into the unlimited point of view of undivided unity, this—as if it were so simple—this is the technology of magic.

And in case disclaimers need to be stated, I certainly have not mastered this magic. Very contrary, my daily failings would be the envy of any hypocrite. But I like to live out loud, and this full blast introspection is simply that. So now I want to tell you a story:

I was at a festival a year ago, and as festivals have long functioned as temporary autonomous zones where everyday boundaries are suspended, it should surprise no one to discover that synchronicity was pandemic at this festival. The festival in this case was Flipside, and I made it my business to blast around offering one-card tarot reflections to people that I met, just for fun and synchronicity. Late in the evening of the last night, I met a woman, and we talked for a few hours, and as we parted I offered her a one-card reading. She drew the Courage card, displaying a picture of a flower growing through a crack in a rock. As she was recently coming though a break-up of her own, this had a particularly poignant meaning for her, so much so, in fact, that I had an unprecedented impulse to tell her to keep the card, which she did—though upon reflection I must admit that I was single at the time and so was probably also just being a cheesedick trying to charm another meeting with a beautiful woman. But in any event, I never saw her again, and since I open my tarot deck nearly every day, I inadvertently compelled myself to contemplate the absence of courage not only from my deck, but also from my very own life.

But first, immediately after we bid each other good night, I walked toward the main road and happened across a friend of mine who was in his car leaving. The backstory is that he’d spent the night before with a woman and she’d sparked his heart and he’d hoped they’d hang out again but it was a festival after all and it just didn’t flow that way. It’s a common enough story, isn’t it? Despite the shallow exhortations of our beer-fisted and bikini-clad media, sexual intimacy is often a tremulous endeavor with potential both for enormous healing and enormous pain. In any event, I saw him leaving and I wished him safe travels and asked him how his night went. He responded with a shake of his head, dismay and defeat palloring his expression, issues of childhood abandonment clearly having been triggered. Myself, I was in a roaring good mood, so I slapped the hood of his car and told him to go park it and walk with me, which he did, parking about fifty yards up the road. As it turned out, however, by the time he had walked back toward me the woman whose encounter had sparked his healing crisis was wandering toward me as well from the other direction. I didn’t have to do anything but step out of the way as they met where I was standing, for life is not just about me, and here I was mere servant to their synchronicity.

Then, at a book signing a couple of weeks later during which I read from my second novel, Nine Kinds of Naked—which revolves around the theme of synchronicity—a young college student who happened to be in the store and hear my talk approached me afterwards and told me she had never heard of synchronicity and wanted to learn more about it. I was meeting friends for dinner, but I promised her I’d permit her to interrogate me over tea sometime, and we met for tea a few days later. It was a full and stimulating conversation, her wanting me to specify the precise metaphysical mechanism by which synchronicity occurs, and me explaining about non-duality and the illusion of separateness and how we’re all dreams in the mind of God and yes maybe so but maybe also mealy mysticism and ultimately what really matters is that there’s a correspondence between the inner world and the outer world and if it has meaning for an individual and clarifies their confusion and lights their path then it doesn’t really matter if we’re all temporarily stable matrices of energetic probabilities, knots in a doily, or concentrations of consciousness in an infinite field of experience. What matters is that the co-incidence had meaning for the individual, carrying a potential psychological breakthrough. Tarot, I say, is essentially intentional synchronicity, seeking a window into one’s psyche to focus a particular issue. I then proceeded to tell her about the woman I met at Flipside who pulled the Courage card and who I let have the card and how the co-incidence of the card served her—and me—so profoundly.

“Here,” I say, cavalier as I pull out my tarot deck. “Lemme show you how synchronicity works.”

“Hey,” she interrupts. “I have that deck.”

“You do?” I reply, surprised that someone who’s never heard of synchronicity would have a tarot deck.

“Well not really,” she concedes. “I received it as a Christmas present from my mom a couple of years ago. I actually cut the whole deck up and made a collage out of it.” She pauses. “Well not the whole deck,” she admits. “I kept my favorite card.”

“Which card?”

“The Growth card.”

“The Growth card,” I repeat, pausing as I scan my recollection of the deck. “I don’t think I know the Growth card. What’s on it?”

“Umm, it’s a picture of a flower growing through a crack in a rock.”

I cock my head incredulous. “That’s not the Growth card,” I say. “That’s the Courage card I was just telling you about, the card I gave away.”

She’s skeptical, and says she’s pretty sure it was the Growth card, and so I pull out the little book that accompanies the deck, demonstrating that it was indeed the Courage card that she kept, and also demonstrating that there is no such card as the Growth card. She’s amazed, as am I, and ultimately she was so impressed by the synchronicity that she went home, located her Courage card, and gifted it to me a few days later. It’s all shiny and new and really stands out in my beat-up old deck, and every time the card emerges I am reminded of this sequence of events and the contemplations that followed. Did you know, for example, that courage comes from the Latin root, cor, meaning heart? Courage is locating oneself in the heart rather than the head, and the expansiveness of the heart—in contrast to the constriction of the ego—this is love, and this is the space we truly share in common. Hammered out of boundaries and convinced it is alone, the ego can only blink stupidly at the grace, the immensity, and the magic of the heart’s experience.

Love, by the way, is not all hugs and backrubs. Primarily, I think, love is a prank. To borrow a theme I’m developing in my third novel: Love is a prank played on the ego by the spirit to teach the ego the one thing that it does not want to learn. In my own life, I’ve been scalded by love, and I’ve even been so tough boots as to believe that I needed to protect my heart. But as a result of my accidental contemplation of courage, I realized—or I remembered—that the heart is made of love, and love is indestructible, and only the cowardice of ego would presume that it requires protection. Actually, love is the only force capable of overcoming the ego, and so the ego would naturally like to avoid this prank, never having to learn to give up control. Courage is simply allowing this vulnerability, embracing the uncertainty, accepting that we may be hurt, yes, that it won’t always be easy, and that not only can we take it, but that we actually have no idea how much we can take. In this “Age of Uncertainty,” courage necessarily means being true to one’s heart, stepping towards a future uncertain rather than securing oneself to a predictable past. Courage is without caution, it is passion, it is a flee from security and into synchronicity. A flower growing through a crack in a rock, courage abandons the familiar and secure shell which protects us—and limits us—and dares us to emerge, to grow, and to trust that life will nurture us despite its challenges.

This expansion of consciousness is necessarily the reduction of ego, and is there anything more expansive than the feeling of love? It is not uncommon for lovers to recount the synchronicities of their meeting, to recognize a strangely inevitable magic in their rendezvous, and such magic is only the beginning, a dim glimmer of a spectacular sunrise, patient as we find our courage, tender as we surrender, daring us to give, to forgive, to reside more fully in our heart, to remember that we are never alone, and ultimately to realize that we are nothing if we are not servants to one another. It is love that erodes our ramparts, that relieves us of our armor, that tames the teeth protecting our trauma, and it is love that will heal us all the moment we have the courage to face the magic.

This is what I believe more than anything, and this is what gives me hope.

He is the son of the great Nyingma master Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, and his main residence is Sherab Ling, the seat of His Holiness Khentin Tai Situpa, a principal Kagyu guru.

Although quite young, HE Yongey Mingyur is an accomplished master of both the Great Seal ( Mahamudra ) and Great Perfection ( Dzogchen ) traditions of pure awareness yoga. I have received from His Eminence both the Tsik Sum Ne Dek ( Great Perfection Breakthrough ) and Karma Pakshi Great Seal guru yoga empowerments some years back, and both transmissions were quite powerful.

His Eminence is also establishing fellowships in North America ( e.g. San Jose CA and Phoenix AZ ) and participating in western scientific studies on mind science. Avalokitesvara is a primary and pre-eminent deity and practice for Buddhists worldwide. Avalokitesvara is the renowned deity of "Liberating Compassion", known in many parts of the Far East as Kuan Yin ( China ), Kwannon ( Japan ), Kwan Seeum ( Korea ), Kwan Theum Botat ( Viet Nam ), etc. This is a major practice for both general Mahayana ( Great Way ) Buddhists and also for esoteric / yogic ( tantric ) Buddhists, and thus unites and helps all schools of Buddhist practice in many different cultural contexts, both Asian and Western.

This is a most well known and quite universally practised pagan / polytheistic deity yoga of Sanskrit origin, Hindu or Buddhist. For example, it has become incorporated into some Hindu practice lineages, such as that of Swami Nikhilesvarananda. It is very similar to or overlaps the practice of Blue Throated Siva, as shown in one of the mantras for Blue Throated Avalokitesvara.

The influence of Avalokitesvara is vast throughout the world, and in different Buddhist lineages. Several of my teachers are considered to be emanations of Avalokitesvara including ( the late ) HE Deshung Tulku Rinpoche ( Sakya ), HH the Seventeenth Karmapa Urgyen Trinley Dorje and the Karmapa lineage, HH the Dalai Lama and the Dalai Lama lineage, and so forth.

His Eminence Dzongsar Rinpoche ( Sakya and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism ), who teaches worldwide, has stated that Avalokitesvara is the most broadly and most commonly practised of all Buddhist mantras worldwide. This is consistent with my experience in Japanese, Chinese, Tibetan, and Vietnamese traditions. Apparently there is a book on Avalokita practice in the Sri Lankan traditions, which are mostly Theravadin Buddhist.

The esoteric yoga traditions of Buddhist tantra are based on ritual empowerment and the practice of self-empowerment, and these include placing points of light at the Brow Cakra ( White Light ), Throat Cakra ( Red Light ), and Heart Cakra ( Blue Light ). Some forms of Avalokitesvara practice include a full kundalini yoga / psychic heat method, known in the Buddhist tradition as Completion Stage Yoga.

Avalokitesvara is without doubt the most well known Buddhist ( or other ) esoteric spiritual practice in the West ( either as "OM MANI PADME HUM" or as the "Heart Sutra" or as other variants, see below ).
Many tens of millions of Buddhists recite daily either a Sanksrit formula for Avalokitesvara or a meditation text associated with this deity, as in (1) and (2) following.

Chaos, Collapse, and Synchronicity

From imploding economies to hurricanes and tsunamis, from astounding corruption to war and terrorism, from catastrophic climate change to thermonuclear weapons in the Middle East, the clichés of doom that lately populate the course of human events is more than enough to tilt a sane citizen into apocalyptic anxiety. I am certain that I paint too broad a stroke on it, but I’m nonetheless going to venture to say that worrying about civilizational collapse is like worrying about whether or not one’s relationship will end in a painful breakup. I don’t mind admitting that I’ve spent some time worrying about both of these things—indeed, one of them even came to pass—and I can testify that no amount of worry could have prepared me for the agony—and the ecstasy—that eventually came of it.

As it happened, I was in the midst of writing my second novel, Nine Kinds of Naked, a novel which presumed to explore the theme of synchronicity. I really don’t remember how or why, but I had dared myself to write Nine Kinds of Naked without a plan and only according to the synchronicity of my daily experience. This turned out to be a terrifying endeavor, and one that I was entirely unprepared to meet. I remember complaining aloud one day, voicing my frustration that this wasn’t working, that I was *trying* to write about synchronicity rather than allowing the story to simply proceed by its own design. I had read every book on the topic, taking careful notes the way my graduate training had habituated me to do, and there I was writing the book as an exhausted intellectual rather than as an inspired artist. I found myself writing about a phenomenon that I only dimly recalled from years earlier in my life, not something that I was experiencing in the present moment. I felt like I was failing my project.

Then my relationship of eleven years abruptly ended.

I only mention this very personal detail of my life at all because of what happened to me afterwards: I was propelled into a six-month period of unparalleled and nearly nonstop synchronicity that continued to reverberate for another full year and upon which I’m still surfing the shockwave. I’m not speaking here about the typical tripe: seeing your former lover’s initials on a license plate or hearing another lovesick pop song every time you click on the radio. Cripes and jeezus gawd, there was plenty of that, but if those wan synchronicities are supposed to be the thumbprints of Providence in the margins of my life, then Providence has grown much too tame. I’m speaking here of the truly uncanny, the highly improbable, the perpetual co-incidence of my life intersecting perfectly with the lives of everyone around me. Shortly after my split, suffering with grief one summer day on my porch, a rare car passed my house, windows open, broadcasting the gaudy voice of a radio commercial advertising I know not what: “It’s a big change,” the radio yapped in passing. “Heal naturally.” And that’s the most insignificant example I can remember.

In my research on synchronicity, I had learned that it is most likely to emerge during and after ego-shattering experiences. These include near-death experiences, the death of loved ones, the end (or the beginning) of love relationships, shamanic / visionary experiences, travel, and so forth. Psychology typically deems this a form of dissociation in response to psychological trauma, and this is probably correct. After all, when I measure it against my own experience—in which the entire world and my very presence within it seemed indistinguishable from a dream—that defines dissociation, certainly. And yet, this explanation by itself left me feeling deeply dissatisfied, implying as it did a dismissal of my experience. And the experience of synchronicity is profoundly personal. It relies upon your subjectivity and the meanings you bring to your life. Because of this, it is irrelevant to debate whether or not it’s real in the sense of what we might vainly refer to as objective reality. There’s an unavoidable arrogance in presuming to evaluate not merely the truth of someone else’s experience, but actually the truth of *the meaning* of someone else’s experience. In the latter case, it has absolutely nothing to do with anyone but the person involved.

In any event, my understanding eventually relented to a view in which synchronicity is the face of a deeper level of interconnectivity. This dovetails with Eastern notions of non-duality, the mystical perception that unity is the underlying reality, that individual consciousness is actually the necessary illusion of distinction, the dark side of the Tao, so to speak, that which hears the tree falling in the woods. In this view, then, whenever the structures of one’s mind are shaken, the mind opens into a wider perception of reality that is hallmarked by synchronicity, understood here as a dissolution of the boundary between the interior and the exterior worlds. Fundamentally, the ego is the illusion that you exist separate from everything else, it is that which walls you off from the flow of undivided unity. Whenever these walls collapse, the flow of undivided unity rushes into your life, and synchronicity is the face of this perception.

So, dear and patient readers, my quodlibet is this: Although my breakup catalyzed what an external observer may at first grunt judge to be a breakdown, from my point of view the only breakdown was the delusion that I was in control of my life. All the walls—of identity, ambition, and security, of any illusion that I knew who I was, or where I was, or that I had any clue at all what was happening in life—all of this collapsed like an obsolete civilization and permitted eternity to course through me as never before. Insofar as apocalypse derives from the Greek "apokalyptein," meaning “to unveil,” this was some version of my personal apocalypse, and since apocalypse is the etymological antonym of hell, which derives from the Latin "helan," meaning “to veil,” the only thing to mourn was the liberation from my own illusions. In a similar fashion, this is what we’re facing when we worry about the collapse of our social structures. Despite our roads and skylines, despite our bridges and our borders, despite our military-industrial complexes and hyper-corrupt transnational corporations, society does not actually exist anywhere but the human mind. As a mental construct, society provides us with a shared illusion of meaning, purpose, and order, and it stabilizes our existence thereby, but paraphrasing Terence McKenna, society is not our friend. At best it is what Aldous Huxley referred to as a reducing valve to our perception, and at worst it is what Robert Anton Wilson called “the devil’s masquerade,” a Luciferian diversion from the truth of existence.

And the truth, or something resembling it, is that if you walk outside right now, hold your hand up to the sky, and pinch a millimeter of heaven between your thumb and forefinger, the truth is that if you were to focus the Hubble space telescope on that random sector of sky between your thumb and forefinger, that one dot on the overwhelming vault of heaven, you would discover *billions* of *galaxies*. This is the cathedral of eternity in which we find ourselves, and this magnificent insignificance is what we do not see when we imagine that we are—or that we could ever be—in control of this juggernaut that is barreling down the shuddering tracks of history.

As McKenna also intones on one of my favorite Shpongle tracks: "Nothing is wrong, everything is on track." And indeed it was, for as it turned out, my matrimonial cataclysm was just the apocalyptic knock I needed to inspire the novel some part of me had dared myself to fathom. I gave up, I surrendered, and it was only then that Nine Kinds of Naked could proceed according its own synchronicity. There was a tremendous relief in this giving up of control, in surrendering to some chaotic process infinitely larger than myself, in realizing not only that I am not in control of my life, but also that I don’t *have* to be.

So here we yawn at millennium’s dawn: Bugles are blasting and the walls of civilization are crumbling, chaos is seeping through the cracks and crawling out of the shadows, survivalist monkeys are buying guns and the ice caps are melting besides as chaos gazes unfazed at the clamor of humanity sounding for all the universe like the echo of a distant wind chime. That which we thought was stable, safe, and secure is not, that which we sacrificed so much for is failing, that which told us who we are is collapsing like a psychedelic kaleidoscope. And as our social structures collapse, humanity—barbaric, beautiful humanity—humanity will rediscover the awesome divinity that inhabits the core of our consciousness as one by one we give up control because society may not be our friend but chaos is our mother and our mother is an order unfathomable, a layer of complexity much deeper than the dim and flimsy arrogance of ego can admit to itself. Welcome our selves to the cathedral of eternity, the dimension in which we step out of that steaming pile of ego which passes for human consciousness and at last surrender into a higher order of experience in which our interconnectivity one to another becomes blindingly obvious, and we see, and we know, and we remember, that there is so much more happening in life than we have ever been led to believe.

Ephemeral Mists is the newest side project by composer Brett Branning (The synthetic dream foundation & Abandoned Toys). The debut album, "Moon Ritual" is out now on Mythical records.

The sound of the project is best described as downtempo ambient electronics mixed with ethnic world musics in the vein of "Karma" era Delerium, Amethystium, and Dead Can Dance. Its really a very intoxicatingly beautiful creation and I highly recommend it to anyone into ambient music styles.

Raining Diamonds???

I had a dream last night where I was watching/kind of in a religious movie, like the type you see on tv during Easter. I was trying to tell my friend, possibly a guy that I have been dating, that he should watch it since it is more modern so more fun to watch. They were using some swear words and just seemed more action oriented. So I kinda was then "in" this movie and saw this guy up in a belltower screaming something religious like from the Bible but with more modern terminology and then said something using this guy I'm dating's name. Then for some reason I was in the house attached to this church/belltower and it felt like it was raining outside. The guy I am dating was sitting in the kitchen talking with my mom and a guy that I know but never dated came out of nowhere, grabbed me started running with me to my room and said do you love me? I didn't answer. I just hoped the guy I am dating didn't see this. Then for some reason I was standing in the church? again and looked up into the belltower and a guy said don't let the bell shatter (which was beautiful clear diamond) but it was too late and it was hit to ring and just started raining diamond dust, like an explosion. It felt like it was happening in slow motion. I started running but felt like it was so hard to run. I couldn't fun fast enough and started to feel the small diamond particles hit my skin and sting slightly, kind of like being hit by many small needles. I finally got to the front porch of the house and started banging on the door to let me in it was like I had no energy, felt like I had been running for days in the desert or something. Then finally my older brother let me inside the house where my parents and other family, I think my brothers and aunt and uncle, were staying in and tried to tell them we have to go to be safe, I thought they didn't know what happened. The belltower was part of this little shack-like house, it was attached to the back of it. I was trying to save them. They were all sitting around talking and possibly watching tv. It felt very emotionally warm and inviting inside this house, with warm yellow lighting. But my mom knew what happened, they possibly saw it on tv, and tried to tell me that it is safer to stay in here than go out in the car. I just felt very scared and then woke up from being scared.

Any thoughts on this?
I didn't know diamonds could be so dangerous!

Sleep is not a waste of time! healing work done in the dream world to help out the awake

Some people believe you waste half of your life sleeping. As an avid dreamer I oppose!
I'm not meaning to take American work obsession into the dream world, but I am curious to energetic/healing work that can be done in sleep.
What do you guys think of creating positive change in the waking world from work done in the dreaming world?

Not just on a personal level either, though that applies, but I'm also thinking of the possiblity of something that could really affect the entire awake dimension. Maybe a subtle energetic change that touches whatever magnitude of what is around?

I can work for environmental and social justice while I'm awake, but could I also work for things like this while asleep? What would we do?
While keeping a balance, and not "working" obsessed.

Maybe there are groups of dreamers who put out an intention and collaborate in their dreams.

Little Sunshine dream

Little Sunshine

I am in my hometown of Evansville, Indiana, on the North side where I grew up. It was a really sunny day in my dream. My friend Jimmy and I are on the mall and hanging out, joking around and talking. Jimmy is dressed like a hippie and on his left collar he has a peace sign button and the numbers 666 stenciled onto his blue jean jacket collar.

A cop comes up and looks at Jimmy, giving him that look of trouble. He says to Jimmy that he has to get off of this mall immediately or he will run him in. I grab Jimmy by the shoulders and say to the cop, “What do you mean? This guy is the nicest guy on the Mall. He is the Mall.” The cop grabs his handcuffs…

Suddenly Jimmy and I are boarding the bus. I look out the front of the bus and wonder where the cop and the cop car disappeared to. The bus takes us up to the rich side of town, and we get out and see a really nice building. We go inside and there is a wake going on, and some woman is ready Caddish over a deceased loved one. Jimmy and I look at each other and decide we’d better back out of here, and Jimmy gets out first, I notice there is a line of people, like waiting at a food stamp, unemployment, or doctor’s office. There are children scattered on the path I have to traverse. I am holding a soda and this little kid reaches up to try to pull it out of my hands. I almost fall over and touch the kid, he wiggles furiously. I say to him, “Both, you sure are ticklish!”

Jimmy and I are now outside and we decide to cut through the woods, by the creek, behind these houses. At first we look, and are puzzled how we are going to get passed all these rich, well to do homes to get to the woods. EOD

Comments: Well Jimmy is Kenny’s brother, who called a couple of weeks ago from my hometown of Evansville, Indiana. I hadn’t spoken to Jimmy since 1979, six years after graduating from F. J. Reitz High School. Very vivid, conscious dream. The cop scene could relate to when I was almost arrested on the Denver Mall in November, because I sat up my tarot table across from the Federal Reserve. But I talked nice to the cop and he didn’t write a ticket or run me in, I just had to pack up and leave. He muttered something about what I was doing being witch-craft, synchronistically something Eric was saying all the time, whenever I did my rituals in the back room. I think that is the whole part of the respect thing from my other dream. Oh, yes, the sunshine, it is amazingly sunny today, with all that snow from yesterday, blindingly beautiful!

THE ENERGY BEHIND ENLIGHTENMENT

Kundalini is the evolutionary potency in all humans. A fundamental bioenergy. It comes from an Indian word meaning “to join the soul with the cosmic soul,” In the ancient Indian language Sanskrit it is a term referring to a coiled force or energy originating at the base of the spine, and seated near the sex organs a coiled up sleeping snake. Implies latent energy or potential to expand. Serpent Power when activated travels up the seven chakras which are the nerve centers along the spinal cord and enlightens the mind. Expanding consciousness the nirvana of Buddha. It is responsible for human evolution and all-psychic abilities genius and spiritual illumination. Kundalini is the biological way to expand the mind.

Kundalini is the “secret” behind yoga and all other esoteric psychology’s and genuine occult mysteries. A scientifically measurable biochemical essence Kundalini is the substance that is the nourishment of consciousness. It penetrates the nervous system and influences the nerves to become the instrument of higher consciousness. This subtle substance is a snake-like force that fuels the mind in order to sustain a more active state, producing an awakened Kundalini individual, Note: snakes have two hemi penises and the power to hypnotize.

Such inner power is represented by the two snakes on King Tut’s headdress and the feathered serpent of Mexico and South America, The serpent in the Garden of Eden. The upward flow of Kundalini nectar (prana force, bioplasmic stream) is concentrated in the reproductive fluids of both men and women. When Kundalini is activated a reverse action takes place, feeding the center of the brain. “cavity of Brahma” in the brain’s ventricular cavity. Kundalini is the power that controls it. All great saints’’ mystics’ poets and people of genius, as well as the insane were influenced in this way.

If an experiment were performed it would prove the existence of the Kundalini force and show its physiological effects on the body. It could bridge the gap between science and mysticism and show the essential truth of religious experience and tradition. Religion has always been a companion of humanity. Religion came to guide humanity. No scientist could doubt the reality of this phenomenon once it has been observed and measured.. Such an experiment would uncover the vale of darkness and delusion under which humanity has been living. This evolutionary force needs publicity and actual proof would provide it. The results will speak for themselves. It will be a discovery more important than anything that has preceded it.

It is only from an awakened perspective that such observation can be made and this potential lies within everyone. As humanity evolved from cave men to the United Nations it becomes inevitable that this discovery will come to light and that there is indeed a purpose. A planned creation to our being. God protects our blue-green planet earth from the inferno of intergalactic space. Why? Because humanity has to attain to other states of consciousness for which all these recourses are needed to do this. We have been granted an intelligence to make the best use of it.

Life’s purpose and evolution’s power lead to cosmic laws, which must be obeyed for nature’s divine grace within us all to come to light. These laws as spoken of in all religions occult and mystical beliefs describe a path to enlightenment. As great empires have come and gone, so too must humanity’s faiths change.

My teacher, the late Pundit Gopi Krishna, an Indian Yogi-scientist and world renowned expert of Kundalini who has written over twenty books on the subject states, “We all know what happened whenever a political system became despotic and oppressive, a social system exacting and corrupt, and a religious system excessively authoritarian and dogmatic. There arose a demand for revision and reform. Political revolutionaries, reformers and prophets appeared on the scene, The old system was overthrown often with dreadful bloodshed, suffering and pain and a new one installed in its place. We have to cooperate with inner evolution.”

What is needed for a more positive harmonic peaceful and prosperous existence is a fuller understanding of humanity’s need for god. As society accelerates the brain must work increasingly beyond the point of balance. We are giants of intellect and dwarfs of the spiritual. We give no time to the spirit. Bringing on grave consequences. Gopi Krishna says. “ We have given too much emphasis to the material side of life at the cost of the spiritual side.” Time must be set aside for prayer, meditation, yoga or some other spiritual act in order to keep life’s evolutionary needs in balance and maintain inner sanity. Yoga meditation provides a channel for the opening of a powerful energy (inspiration) which can enable anyone to blossom into a genius, an artist, a poet, a mystic.

If this force awakens in an impure or out of balance form it can result in evil genius fanaticism delusions of grandeur, or mental illness (like manic depression and schizophrenia). There is a lot that is not understood that kundalini research will explain.

The brain is subject to the influence of countless factors connected with the life environment and the family history of an individual. When even slightly tainted or stained do to the pressure of reality or various causes such as wrong mode of life, unhealthy environment, faulty heredity, shock, frustration, repression, tension and numerous other factors. If the mind is abnormal the brain too must be a shareholder in the abnormality. There are subtle changes in some neuronic structures in the cranium. The real root of the abnormality is an impure or toxic condition of the prana. If you do not live a disciplined life then the awakening of this center can be unhealthy. A distorted vision of the same power. It means that the system is not pure and that the energy is not working in a healthy way.

There is a positive spiritual energy force within us all. Which has a physical counterpart in the human body that feeds a certain portion of the brain cavity of Brahma. This is a living electricity or intelligent energy that is needed to open the brain. The macrobiological changes and its effect can be observable and scientifically verified. Elevations of consciousness can only occur through the transformation brought by kundalini and by no other agency.

Nature shows compassion to humanity in order to help guide us safely through transgressions. God to me is a universal god that is not tied to any one organized religion. It gives us chance after chance. But when we digress off the path unhealthy results occur. We can not blame nature but ourselves. We have intelligence, we have reason, and we have learning. But if by having everything we ignore it then of course nature has no alternative except to teach us by suffering. Heaven is always merciful and all compassionate.

Great prophets, mystics, inventors, sages and people of genius have come to guide our race towards evolution’s goal. The study of the past will show the common thread within these great men and woman. Study is needed in order to educate us about how life should be led to be more in harmony with the forces of nature, which govern our life. A life of humility – love – purity - truth - moderation and compassion.

But how can we prove kundalini’s effect on the body? We can perform an experiment in a controlled environment. This experiment would take on hundred individuals with a healthy average intellect - normal typical people all with a great urge to awaken with a deep passion for spiritual matters and who are prepared to mold their lives in consort with the spiritual laws. Men and women aged twenty to thirty five. They would be put in a peaceful environment and subjected to various tests over a period of five years or more.

Scientists can observe them as the subjects try to awaken their kundalini. They will awaken to differing degrees. Tests will document the physiological changes that occur and will provide the empirical proof of what happens to the body as the kundalini force is awakened. I hypothesis that there are definitive biological differences in the blood, the cerebrospinal fluid and the composition of the brain matter in its subtle layers. Research on brain mapping. EEG ceg ces and the electricity in the body may show the kundalini force. The brain activity will be increased and its effect will be found all over the body. There will be metabolic processes, which can be measured. There will be physiological changes, which can be measured. This will convince the biologist that this change of the mind of the brain has physiological counter part. The result will start humanity towards a greater understanding of this evolutionary mechanism.

Once it is proved that the potential to awaken lies within everyone and is the most valuable asset we have, people will strive for it. The result on humanity will be comparable to the splitting of the spiritual atom. Instead of releasing a nuclear holocaust it will unleash the beginning of a utopian age, our cosmic destiny that can transform a mortal into an immortal and eternal source of happiness.

The awakening of these energies produces genius in mortal man or woman. Creativity, love and compassion emerge and pathways are opened to a future, awakened humanity. We will become the trailblazers of our own inevitable destiny. A utopian age of peace and harmony will follow. All political and spiritual processes will be developed for the highest good. Individuals will develop their “inner Sun” to the fullest during their lifetime. Kundalini research is part of an evolutionary force that compels us to look for enlightenment as an experience accessible to all. To awaken is the goal nature has set for us.

The time is right for we can use state of the art technology to study the phenomenon. We can study the common thread that lies at the root of all religion mysticism which is to guide humankind’s understanding of evolutionary change The understanding of kundalini is now becoming provable for the first time.

Sigmund Freud in fact understood that the libido is directly responsible for mental imbalances. At some point in time we will discover that all we know can be reduced to the bio-chemical. This center of the brain cavity of Brahma is still undiscovered but could be called the “third eye” or the “philosopher’s stone”. Kundalini will for the first time reveal how energy is supplied to the brain and that it is superintelligent. Freud’s concept about libido is of a psychic energy drawn from the libidinous tendencies in human beings. Which is to say the reproductive energy but only from a psychic point of view. He does not say that it has organic roots. This is what famed psychologist Wilhelm Reich emphasizes that this libido must have roots deep in the biochemical structure of the body.

The sex organs in a state of awakened kundalini produces a vast amount of fluid to feed the newly activated part of the brain. Sexual energy may well be directly connected to a mechanism that is affected by evolutionary advancement. Kundalini is the fundamental bioenergy stored primarily in the sex organs. This basic life force is normally associated with the genitals for simple continuance of the species by providing a sex drive. The tie in to the human sex drive and higher consciousness must be explored. Why do men have ejaculation while asleep or wake up with erect penises. There is a force of nature that needs physical release to be sane.

It is called the “goddess Kundalini” or “Mother Nature” because a mother’s love is similar to the bliss of higher consciousness. Woman have more feelings! Life is part of them - menstruation each month reminds them of that. Soulmates, man-woman have intercourse to prolong the race (children). Plus experience the love, kundalini evolutionary force of completion, happiness and bliss that keeps growing.

Sexual or relaxation exercises may release inner pressure of an over-taxed libido. An evolutionary super-nectar, extraordinary life force feeds the mind, a kissing food of unlimited bliss. The sublimation raising up of sex energy is the basic lever of all spiritual disciplines. But the all-inclusive nature of sex energy is a misnomer. Reproduction is but one of the aspects of the life energy of which the other theater of activity is the brain.

Humanity’s basic needs are for sex, god and a need for prayer to control our environment i.e.. hope within everyone lies the ability to awaken. Humanity needs love to balance our own unbalanced state and give us time to meditate, to control our over-taxed brain. Humanity’s sex drive may well be the only time some people relax from their hectic lifestyles. There is a need to just kick back and enjoy. Sex could be a form of deep meditation and experience between two soul mates. Loves deep blissful passion, kundalini’s purest expression an active prayer one of the most powerful forces in the universe. A positive experience that ends in an explosion of uncontrollable bliss. However for the average person, sex is not a deep meditation but is merely a physical release, a small slice of love’s true potential.

What is needed is that deep magnetism of love - a yin/yang of a universal constant. First came the big bang theory for the creation of the universe, now the love theory of creation states that the universe is a constant - always was here. That pure love magnetism, that yin/yang. Example. Trees love earth. Earth love the sky the sky loves the stars space… Love is consciousness … The universe is male and female and in love with both forces.

Suppression of sexuality out of contempt or hatred of our lower nature is an act of ignorance leading only to atrophy of the sexual system. Celibacy is contrary to nature. Since enlightenment is an evolutionary process with heredity playing an important role stamping the genera of the enlightened so that their biological gains through spiritual disciplines can be passed to their progeny. DNA research will eventually discover the consciousness gene.

Sexual energy has been represented in ancient art and statues by an erect organ. Showing the upward streaming of the reproductive essence that effects the transformation of consciousness.

In order to discover the factual evidence behind consciousness, one must first study kundalini energy and its effects. Scientific proof will free humanity to accept the fact that within everyone lies the temple of god leading to a clear realization of our own divine nature. Man’s incomprehensible inner bliss and oneness with divinity and a way of life that overpowers doing wrong or any other action that goes against this cosmic evolutionary force. The misunderstanding of kundalini has led to environmental decline that seems rooted to ultimate destruction of Planet Earth i.e. ozone layer, burning of rain forests, religious wars and terrorism, rape and murder….

It is one relationship not just to their own kundalini but also towards each other. It is the combination of the two that will lead not only to harmony but also to sharing and ultimately to progress. The appeal especially in these times is kundalini which offers hope promise. There is negative energy (i.e. ours) that can be transformed into positive communal conscience which will try to eradicate feelings of helplessness, negativity, pain and the burden of feeling isolated.

Why are people so selfish? Due to not having an understanding of kundalini. Just desperation, helplessness and power struggles which lead to hurting others and ourselves or apathy both of which have a profound effect on our history and the mood of the energy.

Our goal and objective is to create a paradise on earth. A peaceful co-existence, long lives, greater achievements and more freedom. A utopian society living by the laws uncovered by the experiment. A union with the divine is a sum total of the physical laws of the universe. We are in the process of taking the next evolutionary leap. The new century is here.

The study of what lifestyle would be best to advance ones inner potential is a task that may take eons to complete. With the help of divine grace may we free the veil that covers the eyes of the blind masses. We who have been chosen for this colossal task are the humble instruments of this evolutionary force. I had a nasty dream today :/

I was swimming underwater in an artificial reservoir or something and I seemed to have no problems breathing there, there was strange milky green water there and the visibility was very poor; suddenly I saw someone behind me, it was a strange guy, he did not even look human, he had a blurry spot instead of face and his legs and arms were constantly being transformed into something else: fish or dragon tails then into large octopus hands etc; I thought he was kind of weird and I did not know him at all but he seemed to know me very well, we communicated in a telethapic way, he wanted something from me, like I owed him something, and he was angry that I was trying to run away from him; I was not scared but found him extremely annoying; I was not able to swim fast enough to leave him behind, he insisted we were somehow connected and when I tried to persuade him we were not he angrily turned me around and I saw an old rusty mirror right there underwater and when I saw myself in there I was shocked to see that I had a blurry spot instead of face too just like him! and his voice was shouting in my head: see?! we are alike, we are connected!

That dream left 'a bad taste in my mouth' and I have no idea how to interpret it.

I am walking East right before sunset, and I see the Full Moon rising on the horizon. It is huge. Then suddenly the Moon moves up a few inches and is its normal size. I begin to wonder what’s up with that, when the TV from my wrist watch I hear the weatherman say, “This was the closest Full Moon in a hundred years and what you just saw we taped when the Moon rose. We had to fast forward to where the Moon is at this hour.”

As I was trying to figure this surreal act out, I see three blue laser-like lights come down from the sky, into a field, and begin to twine, like 3 strands of DNA (like the scene where the Romulan senate was turned to stone in the Star Trek movie Nemesis) and go deep into the Earth. I hear some other people yell Wow! Then, like a welder’s arc, it starts moving across the field, in the ground, towards the street where I am walking. As I approach it, I can hardly walk; I am feeling heavy, like lead. I see my orange and blue Crabtree & Evelyn Naturals bag, which I usually keep my ceremonial clothes inside, laying on the side of the street. I pick it up, and even though it is empty, suddenly I have the spiritual energy to walk pass the energy line that is being carved in the street. I get past it. EOD.

dream from my boyfriend- "starts off flying over green trees. i land on a cliff facing away from the cliff. a white wolf with yellow eyes appears walking out the bushes coming at me. im not scared. he walks towards me and morfs into a native american. the native american is face to face. pushes me off the cliff. as i fall towards the ocean, i suddenly see a blonde girl with a face of light falling close to me. i grab her just before we hit the water! my back is turned to hit the water first as to protect her."

dream of places youve never been yet.

so i went to the toms river festival tonight. i had never really been in toms river besides passing through on the parkway. the shuttle dropped us off at the high school. when we got there i knew instantly that i had already been there...
ive had dreams..miltiple ones since i was a kid and continue to recently about the front of this school. it was exactly how i had dreamt it countless times before.

i once had a dream about this stunning building with pillars and an arch on top. a few years later (last year) my friend showed me a postcard of the capital building from a foreign country, and its resemblence to my dream building was almost scary. from the pillars to the arch on top to the height to its location on the street.

i once had a dream i was in this weird dark brown building..small but unique looking. not so long after the dream i saw this building on the side of a road in a place in jersey i had never been before, right outside of colingswood.

so what can i make of this>? do we really travel great distances in our dreams, and have our minds wander around these places or stumble upon them like ghosts lost in a house enacting a story, a dream without our knowledge that these places might actually exist in real life?

Dreams About Wolves

I have dreams about wolves and I have them periodically. When I do have them I document them because these dreams always have someone that I know in them, especially family members. Let me tell you about this dream. I would like someone input on it.

We are in a house, it is a wooden house and there is a hallways from the outside door to the door of the house, the door to the house only has a latch. So it is me, my mom and my brother in law and one of his friends in the house and I start to hear wolves outside. One of the wolves broke in and I caught it and broke its neck showing them house to do this when the come through. Earlier in my dream my daughter was there but she wasn't in this part...so she was safe. I asked my brother in law where was his wife...she was safe. Now we are all on guard because of the one wolf that got in and my brother in laws friend had to go home. So my brother in law said he is going to walk him out to make sure he is okay. So the second door closed (the entrance to the house) I latched the door back(the door to enter the livingroom of the house) and my mother and I were left in the house alone. We was scared but yet I knew how to kill the wolves and then we started hearing wolves howling and I woke up from the dream....

twin crystal dream

so last night I dreamt that I was in a house that was also a crystal mine. Down in the basement people were digging into the walls and the ground was wet from small streams or underground water. Anyone could go into these mines. I sat at one spot digghing through the mud and rinsing off the stones I found. I found a stone that is pink and sort of bubble like how some of prehnite forms ( but it was not prehnite). I moved around the mine ddigging in at different spots. I found quartz wands and staurolite that did not cross over. it was just long straight rods. But the most important find was two large quartz crystal points that mirrored each other. They were twins. I pulled them out of a hole in mud wall. They had been inside a little hollowed out spot. Oh yeah, and everything cost. So you mined and then paid for what you found. These two crystals were marked $54 each. I didn't have enough money for them and all teh little stones I had found. I also had not known it was going to cost until I saw the numbers on the bottom of the two crystals. Then I was up in the kitchen and soomeone threw one of my crystals against something metal and the crystal bounced back and I caught it, but one and part of another face of the crystal had chipped off. I was so upset. I was angry and outraged. yelling at the guy, YOU BROKE MY CRYSTAL!. At some point the floor also began to cave in. I had looked at the inside of teh floor for crystals before it caved in and the floor wwas filled with broken glass from flourescent light bulbs. Any ideas?

It is written that this part of the cosmos that we know of, this universe, this galaxy, this solar system, and this sun structured itself over 21 billion years ago. Billions and billions of years of jet blackness, dark black matter, dark black energy, and black holes then came light and life.

do you believe in destiny? -my personal revelation

so ive never been one to EVER believe in destiny or a pre-determined fate. free will is one of the little freedoms we as souls have. i still believe in free will but a free will that has already been written..if that makes any sense..

ive had one too many precog dreams to deny the fact that our path is already paved we just have to walk it. i hate that i know this, but i do so ive been getting to deal with it. i in fact enjoy knowing that everything thats supposed to happen...will happen. when i sleep i dream and sometimes when i dream i catch a glimpse into my life, my life that hasnt happened yet. ive been struggling with this idea and oddly feel at ease.

some examples...

the biggest has to be the dream i had about a car rolling down a driveway into oncoming traffic and me and my friend having to pull the e-brake to stop it...i woke up and this happened to me in less than ten minutes...the accident had it happened could have been fatal.

ive had dreams (many dreams) about pictures on the moon. just today i saw a billboard that said "Moon-vertising coming sooon!" and it had a picture of a large lazer light that i guess will put an ad on the moon.

other dreams more subtle..like having a dream with a certain actress or actor i would never think of then the next day find myself unknowingly sitting infront of the tv with their movie playing.

it happened to my little sister too. i was longboarding with little brother who had a shortboard and my sis who had rollerblades. my brother and i switched boards for a bit, i said "wow im not used to this im used to havin g abigger board" my sister told me she had dreamt that exact moment to the T...my words, all three of us skating.

so what have i learned? ive learned to simply smile throughout life. everything that my life is supposed to be..will. it comforts me during stressfull times and makes me laugh during times i probably shouldnt be....

Memory within a dream

it's almost a deja vu feeling, but not quite...

this happens to me occasionally, most recently this morning: in a vivid dream, i have memories of things that have happened within the story of that dream, but i did not actually dream the things i remember. let me clarify: today the dream involved me following a complicated path to where my sister & i were staying in a very strange town. she was at the bed & breakfast, and i had left my phone there charging by accident, so i couldn't tell her where i was or ask her for directions. i remembered the journey to get back based on the fact that she & i had taken the same route earlier that day. except that (as far as I can remember) my dream didn't include the parts i was remembering during the actual dream. this is not a recurring dream, so the information didn't from a previous version of the dream.

i'm having trouble figuring out a better way of describing this, so hopefully it makes sense!

any info or resources you can offer on this interesting phenomenon? i love things like this, from both a perceptive and psychological perspective. any insight would be greatly appreciated!

odd phenomenon, what was that?

Here is what I experienced recently.
I [seemingly but not actually(?)] woke up from sleep in the middle of the night and realized the ribs on the left side of my body were rubbing one another.
It was interesting at first but rather unpleasant. Also the left side of my face was crampy.
I then realized I was being attacked by some entity. It would lift me upwards and beat me against the bed. It also tried to break the wall with me head-on like I was a ram, but an invisible barrier before the wall stopped me from reaching it.
I remember my quilt being lifted to the ceiling violently and dropped down on me several times.
It got unbearable and I broke out of it with some effort.
I fell asleep and had a semi-lucid dream where I was aware I was dreaming but my control was limited (esp. regarding the scenery), but it was rather nice as it was easy to maintain without much focus.
Although the experience wasn't all pleasant, I'm glad to have had it.

Dead Birds and more

A dream I had a week ago that I can't get out of my mind. Any thoughts?

My dog barks. Someone jumps over the fence to my backyard, like a burglar. I try to defend myself with a BB gun, but all that comes out is air, the bullets are gone. My fiancée rushes out to confront the man, but is deftly flipped over and tossed into the swimming pool. He comes very close to the sliding glass door; I open it blocking the way. There are many five note, circular wind chimes hanging from the ledge of the roof separating us, and hanging from the chimes are dead birds. He threateningly asks if I have any children. I say I do not. (I don’t have any, but would have said no either way.) The dead birds are swirling around my head, confusing me. The man gets closer and closer, reeking of force and power. I ask, "What do you want?" He replies, "The truth." I wake up.

At first the dream was very scary, and felt like an attack on my home and the people I care about. Afterward, I was still scared, but also thoughtful. I don't think the man was really trying to hurt me, just scary because he was so powerful. Was man trying to tell me I am lying to myself and/or others? Am I seeing and living untruths? What is the truth he wanted? What did the dead birds hanging from the windchimes mean?

Scary Dream- Please help!

Hello, First I'd like to say that I NEVER remember my dreams, in fact I haven't remembered one for almost a year. Last nightm however, I woke up sweating with my heart racing and hearing wolves howling. I thout it was something on my computer or my roomate's televisons. It really seemed like the howls were real and close.

All I remember about the dream is just seeing about 5 wolves howling to the starry sky on a rock.I actually got up afterwards and wrote down that it was in Arizona.

If anyone has any suggestions of what this means I'd really appreciate it. The few seconds of my dream that I remember really terrified me.

indigo coloured? underworld? ....Any idea's?

by far the strangest dream I've had to date.
It began with me entering, or it seemed like I had, a
running man competition (reality tv show).
Just a few select randoms, running, in good sportsmanship.
I don't know how or where the finish came.... next thing I know
were located in some hidden cove in the forest. It never felt hostile,
nor too welcoming. Just a balance.
The competiter's were broken up into 2groups in accordance to their
positioning in life structure. I just recall the one grouping as being shirtless
glowing an amber colour.
Oddly, each group had some sort of "leader", or muse....
I remember asking my "leader" countless questions demanding explanation for what was happening
and somehow it came to her doing a full on demonstration with energy working;
Creating a strong (indigo,lavender,light blue) coloured circular energy structure inbetween the palms of her hands and went on further to explain that we were in the underworld.... something else was said, I feel it was key, though I cannot remember right now.
After that demonstration my grouping, the people's skin colour had changed to the colour of the energy she had created/used. I recall vibrantly warm sparks of light hovering around my temples....across my head like a crown. The energy felt peaceful/angelic/harmonizing. everything was Aglow.
I can recall the amber coloured grouping changing colour, in awe, but I also sensed anger with that.
Somehow my dream ended with me on top of a pillared woodstack, called a bridge?, me looking down at the two groupings as the tower jenga'd....me falling a, what seemed to be, massive distance into Kootenay Lake.

I have started a new tribe: "Sharing techniques of ecstacy"
And i hope you will all join to share your knowledge.
I have been on Tribe for a little while now and am amazed by all the wisdom that circles around.

The idea is that this will become a tribe where sharing of knowledge is a central point.
Knowledge in ways of connecting to the supernatural.
Think of mind traveling, breathing techniques, techniques of the body, techniques of the mind.
Techniques of worship and prayer.
But also knowledge of potions and plants.

Let it be as practical as possible, but also let there be sharing of visions from the other side.
How does one gain visions and knowledge.
How does one get insight in the eternal.
How does one keep in control.
How does one lose controle.
How does one start a tribe like this...

I will start by posting some of my earlier posts i wrote on different tribes.

Just a dream I had the other night that I keep thinking about for no particular reason... and for which I keep shaking my head:

I dreamt I was living in the Old West, the 18-year-old daughter of a very wealthy railroad baron. We lived in the somewhere in the Cascade mountain range not far from a booming logging town called Monte Christo which Father was involved in building a railroad connection from to places far afield. He had a stock in the lumber company as well. It was all profit for him. My father was always very busy and very important and everyone kowtowed to him in a big way. They were afraid of his least little displeasure. I stayed out of his way and strictly behaved myself at all times in his presence.

My mother was a very authoritorian prim and proper Victorian lady who ran the household like a tight ship. She didn't do anything herself so much as very firmly delegate on a constant basis... that and entertain visiting notables. Like Father, everyone was afraid of her displeasure... even Father.

As for me, I was treated like a delicate simpleton: not allowed to do anything on my own, not allowed to cook, not allowed to have friends over or go to their houses except as came with their notable parents to our house or we to theirs: prissy, uptight girls, that knew as little of the outside world as I did and who never had anything interesting to say. It was all useless boring small talk and gossip. I was hungry to hear about anything outside my isolated little world... to do things... to have real conversations and real friends. I especially wanted to DO things. I didn't like being treated like a delicate simpleton. I KNEW I was better than that.

And here's the part where my knowing mature modern self nods with understanding and still shakes her head in dismay, because my old west self - Gwen, I think - was really profoundly naive... maybe even downright DUMB.

One day, with mother gone visiting and father gone travelling, I decided to finally DO something.

Having watched how the two-wheeled chaise was harnessed to the horses, I decided to do it myself one day and was very proud of myself to do a very fine job of it. It would NOT have been harnessed up for me had I asked as I was not allowed to go out on my own and I knew it. I hopped aboard, in fact, with the intention of running away to town and getting myself a job. I had a knapsack of bread, cheese, and apples I'd filched from the pantry, some extra clothes in as large a carpet bag as I could lug, jewelry for trading if need me, a jug of cider, and some money saved from birthdays and allowances. I was also wearing one of my frilliest pink checkered day dresses with puffy sleeves and black lace trim in the hope of impressing any would-be employers.

As I was driving out of the gate, a serving woman spotted me and started screaming for me to stop. I didn't of course.

I drove all the way to town without being stopped and went straight to the busiest, biggest, most properous looking business in town to ask for a job.

I didn't know what a saloon was. The word was never spoken in my home. What it was was never so much as hinted at not by that name nor any other. It looked like a fun and lively place. Music and laughter filled it to the brim and it looked as oppulent as a palace inside with its polished wood floor and tables in one area, it great glass and brass bar, it's plushly carpeted parlors adjoing this hung with crystal gasoliers and decked in plum velvet furniture, warmed by large open fireplaces, and ladies, as finally dressed as my own mother did for parties, chatting with the male guests to whom they brought drinks or simply stood beside as they sat playing cards at the table. A beautiful older woman was playing the... well... it wasn't a harpsichord, organ, or pianno, but it was something like all of those... while she sang in a bright and cheery voice. It was to her I went and asked for a job when she'd paused between sets. Whatever it was she'd been playing, it was something I could play too. My very trite home education had nonetheless included a great deal of music.

She flashed me a bright smile and a slow up and down. "Sure we'll hire you honey. Yer daddy's not looking for you is he?"

"Not yet," I answered, knowing full well he soon would be and would drag me off in a fury before I had the chance to prove how very smart and independant I could be.

The woman - who introduced herself as Claire - understood as much without my saying. Maying it was the way my eyes shifted. "We'll call you Toulley," she said. "That way he won't hear about your being here. He might not take it well, you know."

And so she gave me a very nice room of my own and put me to work serving drinks, chatting with the guests, and sometimes spelling her on the keyboard. There was another room in the place where women danced can-can on the stage or sang, but I wasn't talented enough to work in there. I only watched once in a while whever I could, admiring their lively talent, their beautiful costumes, and the worshipful way their audiences watched.

Talented I wasn't, but I was still enjoying my own share of admirers. The men, rather than dismissing everything I might say as did my father and his friends as home, hung on my every word and seemed to go out of their way to make me smile, heaping on more praise and flowery speach than I'd ever heard in my life. Finally, I thought, I'm important. It's because I have a job. It's because I'm doing something and they respect me for that. And what I was doing, I soon realized, was brightening their lives.

Then one morning after breakfast, Claire invited myself and Lori, another one of the saloon girls, into a small parlor with her to have coffee by the fire... and she shut the door. "Now that everyone knows you Toulley, it's time for you to graduate to a new position. Lori will help you. It's by special request..." and she outlined in some painful detail - painful, because she had to explain herself to me in several different ways several times so got a little exasperated at my ignorance - exactly what she wanted Lori and I to do for a particularly wealthy older patron who'd somehow heard of me while I'd never heard of him.

Only slowly did it sink into me exactly what she was proposing and I almost lost my breakfast at the outrageous thought. "I won't do any such thing!" I protested.

"You have to, honey," she said in a tone a silk-clothed steel. "You work here. You have no choice."

"I do too have a choice! I can leave!"

"You can be locked in your room."

"You wouldn't!"

"I would."

And so we argued back and forth until I saw that she might indeed force me if I challenged her to far. She was like my mother that way. Kind of scary in a graceful kind of way. So I pretended very convincingly to acquiesce and went up to my room... and out the window as quick as I could. Not easy in long fluffy skirts, high-heeled button up boots, and a tightly laced corset. I tore my hem a bit tripping over it as I clambored down the roof to the top of a shed and then sprained my ankle a bit in jumping down the last few feet into the back courtyard.

I took my own horse and chaise out of the stable and drove off at high speed, suddenly eager to go home again and just take the bawling out I was sure to get... assuming, of course, that my parents were still speaking to me and hadn't entirely disowned me. But I didn't get far before I saw riders on horseback chasing after me. Some of them were men. Some of them Claire's ladies now dressed like men. All of them calling out to me to turn back on my own or they'd bring me back in a far less dignified way.

I shook the reins and snapped the whip and drove away as fast as I could, nearly overturning the chaise on many a turn.

They were closing on me just as fast though and I grew pannicky, screaming for my many logger friends to come save me. I'd come to know so many who visited the saloon and they were the truest friends I'd ever known. I was sure they'd hear me and come to my resecue.

It was actually my husband Jeb that came to my rescue, telling me to wake up already because I was sleeping far too noisily.

Okay. That works for me. One way or the other, it was a satisfactory escape.

I've obviously been reading too much Harry Potter

As I slept in the car this morning before, tucked in by my husband Jeb under a pile of blankets because I didn't sleep well last night and 5AM was too early for me to function in (unlike bouncy Jeb), I dreamt that Jeb and I and a certain favorite 3rd cousin were going to school.

No, it wasn't Hogwarts. There were no young warlocks or witches or flying on broomsticks or spells or even kids. Nope. This was PSI school for adults and it seemed we had some carreer purpose for what was being taught there. It was a lot of fun, but it definitely wasn't just a lark.

Still, the school was in a great old castle in England and the subject matter, sans spells and flying on broomsticks, was simple, pure, natural magic. First class to take was meditation. Then came Matter Manipulation (aka "spoon bending"), something call Reiki (not one I took - just heard of), Homeopathy, Tantra, Telekinesis, Remote Viewing, and Astro Projection. It was great!

The three of us were in constant playful competition with one another as to who could do things first and best. My cousin very non-challantly left us in his dust - as he could in real life - but he was so polite and funny about it, it was more entertaining than dismaying.

The one big problem with the school was its ghost. Think Peeves. This one's name was Charlie and not really intentionally mean like Peeves, but he was a royal pain in the you-know-what! He was constantly moving things just put down, swapping the contents of people's lockers, shaking the chandeliers once in a while so that crystals dropped on our heads, throwing things, lifting skirts with his very cold spectral breezes and other things of that nature (yes, he was a bit naughty), hiding things, slamming doors, and oppening windows during storms. Yeah. PESKY!

My cousin found his antics hilarious though and often the rest of us - well anyone not the butt of Charlie's prank of the moment - couldn't help but find Charlie funny too. We just never knew what he was going to pull next.

I've dreamt this school before. I don't recall just when, but it and Charlie were both very familiar. Oh yes, and it's never a lucid dream so I never have control over how it goes. Bet Charlie gets a kick out of that.

In the last of the dream, I dream returning to school in the morning too early. Jeb had a project he wanted to work on at O-Dark-Thirty and dragged me along with him since, as with work, he and I carpooled while my smarty cousin drove himself. We get there. We park in one of the castle's many dark porticos. I'm so sleepy I can barely hold my head up while Jeb is positively sparking with exuberance for the pre-day.

"I'm not going in with you," I say. "Charlie was such a pain yesterday I'm just not ready to deal with him yet today."

"Okay. So sleep here," Jeb says, immediately tucking me into the reclining passenger seat with blankets. "I'll wake you in time for breakfast and then we'll go to class together."

He's so chipper!

I drop off even before the car light has gone off.

Something moves next to me. I open my eyes just barely enough to see what it is. It's the elbow rest that goes between the driver and passenger seat. It was in the down position. Now it's in the up position. As I watch, it slowly moves down again. Then up. Then down. Then up. Then down. Faster and faster and then slow again.

"Jeb...." I grumble groggily, irritated with his apparent little joke.

But the elbow rest keeps moving up and down at varying speeds and then a strand of my own long hair is lifted and used to tickle my face.

I sit bolt upright, eyes springing open like snapping shutters. No one is there. No one is freaking there! Least of all Jeb. And Jeb, like me, could only move objects with his mind if he was fairly close to and within sight of them. That was one of our more challenging courses...

But not for my cousin. He was a whiz on this subject. But then so was Charlie. And then it dawned on me: Charlie has heretofore only acted up when my cousin was around. Could Charlie be a projection of my cousin? Oh, the little devil!

And of course, there came a maniacal little disembodied chuckle in the air. It was the first time I'd heard a sound out of "Charlie" and just now he sound suspiciously like my cousin.

Once Upon a Mossy Oak: A Faerie Tale

I have already revealed that my forthcoming second novel, "Nine Kinds of Naked," is about sex, synchronicity, and tornadoes. I trust it will not severely violate anyone’s sense of expectation when I also reveal that there are gnomes in "Nine Kinds of Naked." And nymphs. And dryads. And wild boars.

I bring this up because when I was researching elemental creatures some time ago, I happened across a marvelous essay online. It impressed me, and I forwarded it to a few friends only to soon discover that it was actually written by a very good friend of mine, Mat, writing under the pseudonym, Buck Young. Since I was writing a novel themed with synchronicity, it couldn’t be any other way, of course, and I invite you to read his essay, "An Historical Overview of the Whereabouts of Gnomes and Elves, Fauns and Faeries, Goblins, Ogres, Trolls and Bogies, Nymphs, Sprites and Dryads, Past and Present." I've provided a link to it at the end of this post.

And now I want to tell you something:

I once napped atop the trunk of a fallen and mossy oak in a mighty forest misting with mystery and I dreamed I discovered how to soar through the treetops not flying but vaulting and it was merely a matter of trusting and believing and only fear could make me fall and when I drifted awake I blinked open my eyes and there in the sky above the wall of the gorge were dozens maybe a hundred vultures soaring and circling descending for of course I must have looked exactly like a fresh corpse to avian eyes and I considered hollering “I’m not dead yet!” for indeed it was true I was actually alive but I was fascinated with the meditative hush of their flight and I resolved to commune that I was fully alive and without moving muscle nor making sound I expanded my soul my spirit my spark and their every next circle was wider and higher as I watched the entire flock disperse and I breathed at last tremendous and my eyes caught the sparkle of a shimmering pulsing bead of water dripping from the top of the gorge, a crystal ball hurling toward me and I could hear it cut the air as it plummeted and as it drew close I saw the forest entire including myself contained within its surface before it shattered upon my forehead into a thousand chiming beads of water each still containing a universe their own, anointing me with waters most holy and I heard myself exclaim that I can’t believe how beautiful but that’s not true because I do believe yes I believe that beauty has no superlative and that the only gratitude we can ever offer is our joy and our thrill as the sun kisses our face and the breeze cools our skin and we really have no idea how deeply we are immersed in miracle how thoroughly we are saturated in relentless unpremeditated overflowing fountains of wild beautitude and I want you know that your dreams are all true, satyrs and nymphs cavort in midsummer, elves are vaulting through the highest peaks of moss, faeries are cleaning their wings under showers of godbegotten rainbows, and there is nothing else to do anywhere ever but perpetuate the pleasures of eternity.

The Looking Glass

My life has been rich with lessons of grace and pain, reflections of beauty and ugliness, and milestone events that have shaped, and have yet to shape my journey. As I evolve in my ability to move through life with neutrality, I am able to recognize the milestones with clarity, and watch the cosmic puzzle pieces slide together to form the most amazing excerpts of a picture yet to be revealed. Just recently one such milestone locked its image into place.

I’ve had a re-occurring dream from the age of 3 – 10. This dream was and is one of the most vivid experiences I can recall, complete with all physical and emotional sensations. The dream always ended at the same point, and has perplexed me my entire life. What was its significance, and why can I relive it at a moment’s notice?

In a recent astral travel I stepped into the last scene of my long ago dream, and the remainder played out before me. I was overwhelmed by the magic of pulling back the curtain and seeing what was behind it the entire time. The dream opened my heart and filled it with unconditional love, all the while my daughter’s face acting as the conduit for the message.
I’ve stepped out of that experience with answers to lifelong questions, and the culmination of a lifelong quest.

Neutrality has blessed me with the ability to walk into the unknown spaces without expectation, and given me new eyes to see all that is before me. Each moment reveals a looking glass that is, was, and always shall be there to speak its truth to each of us.

weird dream....

it started out with me dreaming my dream, if that makes any sense.
Then I awoke to see that everything I dreamed was reality.
Everything different, and the house I was living in...I can remember the
front porch vividly, the address 116 just shone. It's weird.
In my dream it was like I lost my memory, everyone thought I was crazy
'cause I couldn't remember anything about living at this location with my family.
Though, they did mention I was in a 2 day coma after I had my apendix removed?
I've never had any of the following.... it goes on, with musicians and me loosing my cell phone
in a tiny crevice...which somehow lead me and some songstress into a cave-like crevice.... I eventually found
my cell phone, was afraid to reach for it cuz of spider webs though, so I made the songstress grab 'er for me....
that's about all I can recall.... tripped me out.
what're your thoughts?

Heartgasm

I am prone to powerful dreams, and I've been known to scare the nightlights out of myself in kicking awake. Still, there are dreams that kick you awake and there are dreams that land you ten feet across the room feeling like your skin just spun twice around your skeleton, gasping and goosebumping. What follows is of the latter variety. Interpretations are welcome, though you don't necessarily need to be a wind-talker.

I am recently fortunate to have made the acquaintance of a talented woman who carries the sobriquet of Heartgasm. I mention her because--in the gracefully unexpected manner of all synchronicty--her name provided me with a trigger with which to remember what happened when I found myself at Angel's Landing in Zion National Park, relaxing in a very comfortable rock seat on the edge of a severe precipice, sitting there with a thousand foot drop on three sides and a woefully steep incline behind. Examining the slope behind me, I couldn't imagine how I got myself into this position, let alone how I would get out of it without kissing the chasm, but I was comfortable for the moment. But the moments kept passing and the sun kept setting and the warm rock began to feel increasingly cold against my back and I gradually realized that this was not at all a sustainable position. I shivered first from cold and then from fear and soon I'm paralyzed as any attempt to move seems a certain fall but the longer I wait the more my body stiffens and shivers and I hear the smallest most feeble most helpless part of my existence whisper help and my paralyzed body becomes suddenly determined and my face snarls in defiance of death and I gently very carefully scramble around in my narrow rock seat precipice, turning myself around to tackle that slope behind but then I look up and twenty feet away looking down at me is a leopard. And it begins to approach, padding its way expertly down the slope and I've never seen such noble such graceful ferocity and I know that this is it that there's no way out and I'm about to die and I hear the echoes of my last words resounding through the chasm as I call out to those I have loved, wishing them to know that I will always love them and I turn back and night has fallen and the leopard is at my face but the spots on its coat are blinking like the eyes of awakening awareness and the leopard lies down before me and I'm astonished to hear it speak: I'M PRAYING FOR YOU, the leopard says, basso profundo enormous reverberation and its fur shines golden divine shining illumination and my throat chokes oh my god as my heart bursts enormous and my hand reaches forth and my fingers slide into the silken fur of the scruff of its purring neck as I… Awaken.

Trying to get feedback on a weird dream I had.

I am at the head of a column of Ancient Egyptian spearmen. I am with some kind of young prince/noble. Though he is a vague presence. We are going up a green grassy rise. I have a feeling that there are enemy troops on the other side of this rise, so we all suddenly shift left and go obliquely around the hill to flank them. Sure enough they are there and we charge them from the rear and break up their formation. Feels pretty good. Next seen me and the prince are int the courtyard(?) of some structure. We are under some archway(?), everything seems fine until some tallish, slender noble storms in, he has a furious look on his face. At this point I know something must be wrong. I briefly wonder,Was our military action unauthorized? Or perhaps we attacked our own people. We are both seized. The noble pronounces that we are both to be "entombed". I take this to mean we will both mummified and buried alive. I am a little anxious and creeped out by this. An attractive ancient egyptian woman comes and escorts me away. I wonder if I can get out of this unpleasant fate by seducing/getting into good graces/forming some kind of attachement with her. Next scene we are in a non descript room and having intercourse. However the woman is now a green Parrot! Yikes! Anyway as with most dreams I dont find anything amiss with this and the sex goes on for a while. Next scene me and the woman are talking, we decide to have sex again----and she turns into a parrot again! now however this scene is taking place in a well lit (maybe day lit) hotel lobbyish room. But there arent any people, or rather the idea of public sex isnt really an issue or manifested. The End

my dream, any thoughts?

definately symbolic. Though, it sounds like a movie.

Had a dream about my hometown, where I currently am situated....
Basically, to sum it up,
there was some sort of disease caused by a chemical they used on all the greens(veggies).... which
effected the majority of the people in the community. Taking over their bodies, in a sort, zombie like.
There's one main road close to Kootenay lake, lakeside dr., where they were marching.... a group of
zombies dressed in blue coming from the east side of town and from the west red uniformed. People
who weren't effected resided on the mountainsides.... and eventually the army was called in to deal
with the problem.... killing off the zombie breed.... then, draining kootenay lake to bury the zombies beneath it.
The end of the dream was summarized by the military leaving, bodybags from the few soldiers who perished,
as well as some other black bodybags....

I though this dream was pretty epic, I always have very symbolic dreams, very lucid.... So, I guess I'm looking for feedback... what're your thoughts about this?

Why meditate?

A question that often comes up when I teach meditation is “Why should we meditate?” Most of us are aware of the basic benefits related to stress management, relaxation, and improving the overall quality of life. There are a vast amount of meditation practices, philosophies and techniques. But the commonality is that each one leads to the expansion of our spirit by way of neutrality.

Neutrality is a way to live life in present time without the static of fear or judgment. The path to neutrality involves finding tools that bring us out of past experiences and into the present moment. Being in the present gives us the clarity to make choices instead of being stuck in our patterns and belief systems. It also enables us to move through fear with ease, and step out of judgment and into self-love. When we do this we expand our comfort zone and destroy our limits. Once we do this we are free to act from our true potential.

Meditation permits us to look inward at our true selves. For some of us meditation is the only mode that allows self reflection. Through meditation we begin to look at ourselves in neutrality and then see what is limiting us in life. I find that my limits are self-imposed. When I experience fear or function in judgment I am limiting my spirit, life, and self. The more I look at my judgments of others the more I realize I am actually criticizing myself and stunting my growth.

My goal is to be aware of when I am not in the present moment, when I am stuck in fear, and when I am in judgment. If I am aware of these things I can change my behavior pattern and destroy the self-made stifling obstacles. The result is personal growth, which has endless possibilities.

Human Holography

Holographic living has been a recent repeating concept in my meditations. I’ve been exploring what it means to live holographically. What I’ve gathered is just a fraction of the information yet to come. Nevertheless, here is where I start.

Remember those 3-D Magic Eye books you spent hours looking at when you were younger? Remember that sometimes it revealed itself in seconds, and other times you couldn’t see it no matter how long you looked. This concept sparked a pivotal question for me—am I functioning with holographic information? And more importantly, am I being holographic? Let me back up one second and say that even though I was the one asking the questions, I didn’t necessarily understand the questions I was asking. Often I don’t until I get the answer; and sometimes not even then. But that has no bearing on my ability to integrate the information and evolve.

My first meditation on holography (did I make that term up? Maybe.) was quite revealing to me. I set my intention to work on healing some root chakra pictures. I used my version of AP to access information at Mary’s Garden—a wonderfully nurturing place if you’ve never been there. Once there, Mary led me by the hand to sit next to a waterfall. There she gave me a handful of dirt and told me to hold some earth while my root opened to heal. I could feel layers of pictures fading away as patterns around my relationships illuminated, then disappeared. Next, she handed me a crystal ball. This crystal ball was actually one I’d been playing with the week prior. It was not clear, but full of crystalline architecture that appeared in different formations depending on how it was positioned to reflect the light. I held this ball, and Mary said, “Do you see how the insides, although full of depth and myriad formations, only reveal that which is reflective? At each turn you see a different snapshot of what’s inside, but never do you get to experience the full depth. This is how you live; this is how most people live—reflecting only snapshots of themselves in the different situations that make up their lives.” I understood this very well. I’ve spent a lifetime compartmentalizing and rationing pieces of myself that fit this situation or that. Mary then went on to say, “In order to live holographically you must learn how to dance between the spaces of action and reaction. Then you will bring all of your depth to the moment.”

Here’s the dichotomy I’ve often faced in enigmatic situations like these; do I try to congnitively make sense of her words and label them, or do I just let them go and potentially miss the learning? I’ve realized lately that to run them through my cognitive realm is to dampen the learning, and sometimes actually prevent it. In this case, I set my intention to “integrate” and bypass the label piece. I came out of the meditation sure I had learned something magical about how to embrace my human holography, but unsure of what that would look like. It was the next day that I received my validation.

I was driving with my daughter who was quite upset and crying. I felt myself reflecting her cries back at her. I understand the concept of yielding, but I was unable to put it into practice in the moment. Then I heard Mary’s voice remind me to dance in the spaces of action and reaction. In that moment I became all of my depth so that her cries were no longer interacting with “Mommy”, but also with the many other facets of me. Her cries had the opportunity to experience my wholeness, and she instantly stopped. There was no conscious map I followed, no prescribed technique. I just went with the knowledge that my meditation prepared me with abilities I didn’t have before. I am eager to bring my holography into more of my life, and curious to see how it impacts my world. This journey has just begun for me, but is tapping information I’ve gathered and stored for eternity. God, I love those dichotomies!

Wolf dream

Hi,
This is new to me so I am hoping I can get some answers. I have had a dream about a wolf that was given to me for me to take care of. At that time I still had my rottweiler and the two did not get along at first, but the wolf was more serene while the rottie seemed to really lash out at the wolf. I believe the wolf was a female and then after awhile the two animals were getting along. It was really different and unexpected considering I gave my rottie to a police detective several months ago because he was starting to lash out at my children. Help please.

An evil scout

I had a lucid dream last week in which I gained lucidity after my car had been demolished in Mexico (in the dream). A man was offering me a dodge for like $600 bucks, and I didn't care that I didn't have the money at all. A young man my age happened by and dropped a large green leaf in the air and it looped a couple times in the air and landed in my hand. I threw the laef in the air and it looped and swirled and landed in his hand, he then put it on his foot and kicked it in the air, again it swirled around and this time it landed on my foot. I did the same back and it landed on his foot. I felt a strange attraction to the man (which in my dream I had to admit to myself was my first homosexual urge). I looked at him after the leaf had landed on his foot and his face had become a grayish green color and looked like stone, it was here that I gained full lucidity and asked the man,"are you real?" My question actually meant," are you a non-organic living entity like the ones Casteneda spoke of. He replied, "yes." I said "will you take me with you?' and he said yes. Suddenly we were transported into a normalish looking house and he'd become an old woman. I asked him/her/it to reveal some secrets to life to me. The first thing it said was humans must not keep or meddle in the affairs of cold-blooded or base creatures of earth, and showed me on a dresser three terrariums, one with iguanas one with tarantulas and one with scorpions. all of them were inbred and deformed and devouring one another. I told her I didn't understand and asked if there was anything else, and she began to tell my that "impure bloodlines" "mixed breeds" and "bastards" were not recognized as sentient beings and were not in the akashic records. I got a very bad creepy feeling from what she said and then I woke up. I think either I'm tripping or a met a malevolent inorganic entity in my dream. Cateneda put inorganic entities into two broad categories one tries to teach you while the others try to deceive you.

Thoughts on Grounding

Ok, so let me preface this post with some logistics. This is basic information for this tribe because the original audience for this article was those new to meditation, but the information is still information I'd like to bounce off those in this tribe.

So what exactly is grounding?

As we interact with each other we exchange pieces of ourselves in the form of energy, moods, opinions and behaviors. These pieces float around our space and often begin to cloud our perceptions and actions. A good example is when you interact with someone who’s in a terrible mood. In just a few minutes you could find yourself in a terrible mood as well, even though the circumstances of your day have not changed at all. This is because you are picking up someone else’s “stuff” and holding onto it. You begin to function through those elements as though they were your own.
Grounding creates an exit hatch for foreign elements, and the old patterns that no longer serve you. You can view it this way; ungrounded electricity is potentially fatal, while grounded electricity serves many of our daily needs. The ability to harness and direct raw power is a cornerstone of our evolution. So now the task is applying that same skill to our own lives.

When we find ourselves frenetic, or behaving in old patterns even though we know better, it’s likely we are not grounded. In other words, we are not directing that raw energy towards a healthy channel.

The more we practice grounding, the more clearly we are able to discern our own dynamic from that of others. We start functioning from our own truth instead of expectations others place on us.

How many of us pursued careers our parents pushed us towards? How many of us are raising our children the way our parents raised us? How many of us respond the exact same way in our current relationships as we did five, ten or twenty years ago? These are all ways in which we could be functioning through other’s elements, or even our own antiquated patterns. Grounding helps clear that space. We can then have an authentic reaction to the moment or situation, rather than a prescribed response.

It’s a process that releases much unnecessary clutter, and reveals a cleaner representation of yourself. As you start grounding be prepared to look in the mirror and begin noticing facets of you that may not have been evident before.

Twenty years ago, I was sitting in my little studio in Los Angeles, CA, sequencing and recording the first acoustic translations of the Mayan Sacred Calendar, the Tzolkin, and shifting into what was being called the "Harmonic Convergence." Throughout the convergence, the acoustic translations of the Tzolkin's 20 Sacred Signs were being broadcast through my house and yard via the only radio transmission system accessible to me at the time, an el cheapo walkie talkie. Lolol... Hey, gotta do what ya gotta do and, having "coincidentally" translated the Tzolkin into sound only months before, my intention was to insure that the planet's ethereal body received both the galactic radio transmission and a local radio transmission of the [concentrated] Tzolkin's currents, simultaneously. It was the least I could do for the planet and, although I had the least of the consumer broadcasting possibilities, I got the job done. (A little leaven leavens the whole loaf.) Since that auspicious transit, the world's consciousness has followed a predicted course toward collective enlightenment, on and relative to all levels of society. Now, here we are, 20 years later, poised on the precipice of (and rapidly accelerating into) the most profound shift in planetary consciousness the world has ever experienced. Fortunately, the ancient Maya priests who foresaw this time also perceived and left us the Tzolkin as a tool to help us transit this period successfully.

Here is the fundamental value of the Tzolkin; it is a Key unlocking the Archetypal Properties embodied in cycles of the 4th dimension, Time, that enable us to ascend into higher levels of Life and being human (in the Highest sense of the word). Time is about periodicity, frequency. Basically, Consciousness, the All in all, uses Time to effect change in the 3rd, 2nd and 1st dimensions. The Tzolkin is a map of how Consciousness does so relative to the expression of specific Aspects of Itself. The Tzolkin is a table of the Logic embodying specific, cyclic Patterns of Time facilitating the expression of those Aspects through all states of manifestation via electromagnetic radiation. When those Patterns are expressed in their purest Form, i.e. electromagnetic frequency, e.g. sound or light, that expression effects a psychoactive, ethereal bridge to the 4th dimension and the Consciousness that generates, progresses and sustains all that is.

At this time, the world understands the principals of using complimentary sounds to effect brain synchronization and cognitive enhancement. Now, we understand the validity of using tone to effect remarkable physiological and psychological shifts. Furthermore, we not only accept, we embrace the mathematical plausibility of a multidimensional universe beyond the accepted 4 dimensions; length, width, height/depth and time. Today, we understand the unity of these dimensions and of all things in such a way that we can comprehend how certain harmonic patterns transmitted in the 3D expression of Life may effect links to their concurrent Life expressions in the 4D, 5D and higher realms. We understand that sound can be used to effect vibrational states whereby higher levels of perception and informations are obtained. And now, as a result of the Tzolkin acoustic translations, we are capable of taking an ordinary CD and tangibly applying dynamics of the 4th dimension to radically and positively progress individual and communal consciousness, health and vitality.

Jesus (the Christ, not Martinez) said "They that have ears to hear, let them hear." He knew not everyone was prepared to hear the enlightening Truth that Consciousness was pouring through him, nevertheless, he spoke so those who could hear It would have the opportunity to do so. I'm sure there are many people reading this who are dismissing the above as New Age delusion, at best, and that does not negate the validity of what I'm sharing, nor of my experience and the experiences of many others who have used the Tzolkin acoustic translations. At one point, we lacked the instruments to confirm we live in an heliocentric planetary system, that information can be transmitted across open air without wires, that our cells are individual microcomputers. We may not have the instruments required to validate string theory or the practical linking of our 3D experience to the vital currents of the 4th and higher dimensions using sound and/or light, however we will. Those who do or may understand and are seeking the value of the easily applied tools for personal enhancement such as the Tzolkin translations (who share this online community) deserve to hear now, and they can.

Ideas on Contemorary Morality Story / Photo Shoot

I need your help - your brainstormed ideas . . .

I am starting to organize a story that is a morality play or sorts for my 6 year old Godson, whom I coparent. It will include a yound man setting off in the world and encountering archetypal beings and situations that engage him and end up teaching him somthing essential about living a fulfilling life. the main character will be discussing these situations and beings with a wise person from time to time. I am an artist. You can see some of my work on my profile pics. I will be doing a photo shoot (B&W infrareds) for every chapter in the story. I will be compiling the story and images into a small, hand bound book. I'l make about 100 editions of the book.

What I need help on is the story:
* What do you think the most important things are to learn and integrate to live a fulfilling life?
* What are the best ways to deal with disapointment and loss, with death?
* What are the most essential archetypal situations that teach us the most about living a fulfilling life?
* What archetypal characters teach us the most about living a connected, passionate, and loving life?

Permanently Losing the Predator

Hi all,
My dreams have always been rich with emotion and packed with adventure, but in my early teens I started experiencing fear scenarios b/c of my environment and certain traumas.
I'm 25 now and living in a completely secure and comfortable life, yet somehow I am still running so much in my dreams!
The Predator has different faces that I know and others that I dont, sometimes it is an invisible force or some kind of bizarre animal - but in the end I find water and get rushed away with the current. It is time to lose the predator.

I have helped many people, and have been helped by many. I value my time here on earth as priceless, and I value our time interacting just as priceless. All my “time” here on earth to this point, was “invested” towards these next few pages. I have written a thousand pages, spent my “life’s resources”, to figure out this was the only thing worth saying, what I truly wanted us to understand… “It truly doesn’t need to be this way”, and here’s the proof… I now know how much of a gift to me, giving this to us, really is…

Intro
Millions of pages could be written on “why” this works, yet it would not assist us in doing it, so all we will read in here is “how” it works.
You don’t have to believe in anything I present to you, yet it works if we have the determination to follow through and “see” for ourselves.
Regardless of what ails us, regardless of symptoms and diagnostics, existence will help us heal ourselves, others, and our existence. “We Are” all patients and healers, here on Earth to learn, grow, change, and evolve.

This is a simple, easy, loving, ability that all humans have been given. If you are alive, you can do this, and I believe in you.

You don’t have to believe these next concepts, yet understanding them allows the miracle of healing to amplify. Don’t take my words for it, try it, or come see for yourself.

Simple Concepts

Consciousness

Our consciousness is always chewing on something. So it chews on what you place there, or what has been placed there, and it amplifies everything....

Time and Allowing

Time is not important in this process, other then, “is it” time to allow yourself to heal. Allowing is everything, yet it may not be your “time to allow” this to happen! Only you can change “your time”, to allow love and cosmic energy to heal through you.

Understanding

No matter how much we learn about something, understanding comes from “being and doing”.

Intuition and Guidance

By noticing what we notice, it allows us to notice so much more…
If it feels true, right, and good, know that it is good and you are right to act upon your personal truth…

Resistance to the Love of Life

Love is the barrier and the glue, resistance to loving life thickens the barrier. While if we allow more love into our lives towards “all that is”, we will be able to feel the glue, or the web that binds us to the “here and now”.

Life as our teacher

Life is not “all about self”, for “we are” not alone. If you are alive, you are surrounded by life allowing us to live. There is no living without life, so we are in this together. The infinite interactions of life, brought us to where we are, allowing you to understand the “universe of you”…

Svaha

Svaha is one of the Native American words for the space between lightning and thunder. This concept fascinates me to no end. Space between two aspects of the same thing, yet different things…
What do we fill the space between us with? Love and Hate? There is a fine line between those two passions, and it can turn on us as quickly as the light of lightning turning into the booming vibration of thunder. Hate is nothing other then a distorted love!
What do you see, what do you hear? More importantly, what do you feel, sense, and perceive in the space between what “we” see and hear?

Secrets and Illusions

The only secrets and illusions there are in life, are the ones we co-create together, and there are no secrets in this… Enjoy…

Words

Words are shallow, hollow shells that miss the depth of what we have within us.
Words miss the depth of pictures and “seeing”. I hope we can “see” beyond my words to see the picture I am painting. Look at each word as a brush stroke in the painting, and we will see beyond the words, to “see” these loving intentions of healing.

Seen possibilities

Our “sphere of availability” is always much larger than what is seen. Love the unseen possibilities and assistance in our life, for we are here to help you “see”…

Limitations

“I Am” not interested in what “I can do”, for in that statement I become limited. I am interested in what “we can do”, for that bypasses my limitations through the “infinite interactions of life”…

Togetherness

I feel our existence can be summed up in the hollow shell of these four words,
“Happily Being Alive Together”… Yet how can we become happy together, unless we come together and learn to be happy in togetherness? Working towards togetherness separately, only keeps us separated… Come together to understand togetherness…

Ripples of energy

Every thought, feeling, action/inaction/reaction ripples out into the world and comes back to us, showing us what was caused. Like a bat “seeing” the world in vibrations, we can also “see” the vibrations we cause, and change our tune accordingly…
Learn to love the ripples we send and receive, tuning our vibrations to ripple love throughout “your world and our world”!

Perspective

The inside and the outside are the same side, just different perspectives…
To unite the inner/outer focus of love, love becomes the same side of our interactions together…

Connected to wholeness

“We are” connected, through a web, a tapestry, playing a tune together, dancing together, or any other way you wish to see it…
We interact with existence in more ways then I care to write down. “We are” just one piece of the cosmic puzzle that contains existence and life.
“I Am” separate, splintered, distracted, broken, or “We Are” whole, complete, united, consciously organized non-organization… Which does the universe of you prefer?

So… on to Healing

This is so simple that most choose not to understand this simple complexity. I have had no formal teachers, nor schooling. I am thankful, for with life as my only teacher, I was not imbued with secrets, fluff, and murky waters of understanding. I was not taught through the limitations of the “teachers”, in the way of life, for life allows all ways of life to be explored and discovered, as our past shows… What I have explored and discovered I have explored alone, shared freely, happily, and with inspiring encouragement. It took me, life, and seeking understanding through interactions, to understand the path that I walk in my life, and that was something no one could show me, except life…

Healing is interactive understanding…
Don’t take my words for it, try it…
To hide from understanding, creates apathy to the inner hurts we accumulate in our lives.

Look at each hurt you have taken personally, as a little stone that you pick up and put in your pocket. As we accumulate these stones, we become sluggish, and then sometimes over burdened with our heart turning to stone…

This interactive meditation allows us to shed our stones of hurt, crack open our hearts of stone, and learn to feel aliveness of life, through connecting ourselves to “all that is”.
Walking the web of life, consciously strengthening our connections. It works alone, yet amplifies when doing it with others.

One last thing before I get to it, we can connect to anyone, anything, anyplace, just by thinking of it, yet physical presence amplifies the connection, and touch amplifies it further. Also, to mold the love is to distort and limit it, and ourselves. To send pure, unmolded, unconditional love, it will always fulfill its purpose.

Learning “How” to Heal

Once again I will say, why or what is not important, only the “how”, and following your intuition… I have never done this the same way twice, only starting it the same…

The distractions in your life will try to keep you from allowing yourself to connect, so this part is up to you, “to do” or “not to do”…

Picture the distractions in your life melting off of you, like dirt in a shower…

Every step of the way, honor and respect each connection for joining you on your journey of life. Run through what you love about each connection, for as long as you need, to “feel” it strengthen with love amplifying between you, then move on to the next. Striving to unite the inside and the outside as the same side for what is in the space between you…

The key that makes this, and the only hard part of this, is to lose your consciousness on this journey, or rather “letting go” of anything other then the “love of healing”… if you can manage that, you will find the miracle of existence, and allow it to happen…

On the quest of healing, follow your intuition…

no pants

I've been taking 5-htp (serotonin) occasionally for the past few months before going to bed. in addition to helping me sleep better i've noticed my dreams are at times quite vivid. i had one last night that i realize i've had off and on since my teens (i'm now in my late fifties). i think i've had the dream at least a dozen times and maybe more. in the dream i find myself in a public place and suddenly realize i'm naked from the waist down. no one else in the dream is pantless or naked from the waist down and no one says anything or seems to really care. in the dream last night i found myself going into someone's private residence (in australia, a place i've never been) thinking it was a coffee shop (funny how i had forgotten my pants but hadn't forgotten my trusty coffee cup). after a bit i found my way out and then ended up in a coffee shop in an incredibly long line, still wearing no pants, feeling a little odd and uncomfortable but not really all out embarrassed as i would have been in waking life. the scenarios have been different in the past but the no pants theme has been pretty consistent. i have no idea what it means. anyone have any ideas?

Yes, I've heard and interacted with Emissaries of Divine Light when we had our DEO Spiritual Awarness Expo in 1990 and 1991 at the Mechandise Mart in Denver, Colorado. Back then it was the Uranus and Neptune conjunction.

Our dream school was dreamed into existence by members of Sea Life, a group out of Australia. There is also LD4ALL.

Each approaches the dreaming work in alternative ways. LD4ALL focuses on Lucid dreaming, Sea Life on the Dreamspell, and Earth First Dreaming School along the lines of Robert Moss Conscious Dreaming and Carl Jung's Transpersonal Dream Work. Dream interpretations?

I know that to really interpret a dream it is best done by the dreamer because there are so many aspects and representations that are personally connected to that dreamers way of thinking. But I was wondering if anyone knows what the significance of GRASS is in a dream?
In my dream we noticed all of a sudden one day that our grass was really tall and getting unruly. I wondered how we hadn't noticed it before. It must be about 3 months of growth. It bothered me because the other neighbors' grass still looked nice. We are a part of an HOA that cuts our grass on a regular basis, so we thought that maybe they had decided not to give us that benefit anymore, and everyone else got the notice but us. Then I looked at my next door neigbors (who have their house up for sale) and noticed their grass was even taller, like 1/2 as tall as their house. I was relieved that we wouldn't be the only ones looking unpolished, but also thought it was strange that they let their grass grow so tall since they are trying to sell their house.

Hello,
I am new here...I was wondering, do many of you have dreams in which you are on the outside observing the happenings of the dream...as if you were watching a movie you weren't really part of? I find this happens to me, not all the time, but I always wake up thinking "wow, that should have phased me more" or feeling like I was like, in someone else's dream.
I wonder what kind of significance there is to having a dream you don't really seem part of.

"The Secret"

Has anyone seen "The Secret"? it's an amazing movie, along the same lines as What the Bleep Do We Know? Maybe it's by the same people, honestly I have no idea. Basically it talks about the Law of Attraction (also discussed by Deepak Chopra...another guy you have to check out "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success") and how you can use it to live your dreams and all that good stuff.

I have the movie somewhere; I have to upload it on my computer though. I also have the Chopra audio files, so if you're interested, let me know and I'll be more than happy to send them over.
